Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sequence websites and applications at sequenceapp.life and app.sequenceapp.life (the “Services”), operated by Steamgauge Consulting LLC, doing business as Sequence (“Sequence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Services. If you use Sequence on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. The Services are intended for users in the United States and Canada.
3. Accounts and households
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Household features let members share content; invite only people you trust. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it.
4. Subscriptions, trial, and billing
- Price. Household subscription: $6 per month or $59 per year, unless we state otherwise at checkout.
- Trial. New households may receive a 14-day free trial that does not require a card, unless we communicate different terms for a specific offer.
- Billing. Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the prices shown at checkout.
- Cancel anytime. You may cancel in the app or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future charges; access typically continues through the end of the paid period.
- Refunds. If you are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 30 days of a qualifying paid charge by emailing support@sequenceapp.life. We may limit refunds for abuse or repeated claims.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate law or others’ rights
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Services
- Harass, abuse, or impersonate others
- Scrape, overload, or access the Services by unauthorized means
- Use Sequence for medical, emergency, or life-critical decisions
- Share illegal or harmful content
We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risk to the Services or other users.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Sequence a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit and share that content within your household.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, design, branding, and documentation, are owned by Steamgauge Consulting LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Sequence intellectual property.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEAMGAUGE CONSULTING LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steamgauge Consulting LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel your subscription.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes lies in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
